The collective BUS123 and the Element choir are excited to invite you to participate in their outdoor multimedia event, Babel-o-drome.
Come join them for an immersive, multimedia and multilingual walk on the grounds of Hamilton’s beautiful historic Museum of Steam and Technology. Take part in this unique interactive theatrical and choral event. Bring your singing voices and your phones!

The production deconstructs a theatre play into a series of site-specific interactive scenes linked by a procession and performances between them.The piece explores the relationship between language, identity and communication. In a world where fiction and reality collide, what is our own reality?
Combining poetry, humour and fantasy, this show tackles the question in the form of tableaux with dialogue, live video and live music.
Collectif BUS 1.2.3 :The collective is a multigenerational, multi-lingual and multimedia group bringing together creators from Toronto and Montreal. Its members form an eclectic group of artists with professional careers in their respective fields of theatre, video, music, dance and song.
Babel-o-drome is the reflection of their collaboration within the collective.The work of the collective converges theatre and multimedia all the while questioning the technological and societal changes triggered by media and the Internet.
Element choir:The improvising choir, created and conducted by Christine Duncan, brings together many amateur and professional voices from all walks of life, from internet developers to filmmakers, teachers, students and artists. It creates a safe community for interested vocalists to experiment freely.
The choir has participated in many shows such as Luminato and the Guelph Jazz Festival and collaborated with many artists including Tanya Tagaq.

Alliant poésie, humour et fantaisie, ce spectacle aborde la question sous forme de tableaux dialogués, de vidéos et de musique en direct.
Collectif BUS 1.2.3 :Le collectif intergénérationnel, multilingue et multimédia regroupe des créateurs et créatrices de Toronto et de Montréal. Ses membres forment un groupe éclectique d’artistes poursuivant des carrières professionnelles dans leurs domaines respectifs du théâtre, de la vidéo, de la musique, de la danse et de la chanson.
Babel-o-Drome est le reflet de leur collaboration au sein du collectif. Le travail du collectif converge le théâtre et le multimédia tout en questionnant les changements technologiques et sociétaux déclenchés par les médias et l’Internet.
Choeur Element:Le chœur d’improvisation, créé et dirigé par Christine Duncan, rassemble de nombreuses voix amateurs et professionnelles de tous horizons, des développeurs Internet aux cinéastes, enseignants, étudiants et artistes. Il crée une communauté sûre pour les vocalistes intéressés à expérimenter librement.
Le chœur a participé à de nombreux spectacles tels que Luminato et le Guelph Jazz Festival et a collaboré avec nombres d’artistes dont Tanya Tagaq.
